NX Corner
This page marks the future home of the NX Corner. It will be jazzed up so come on back. We are just collecting content as of 26 Feb 2008. We should be running by March 15th (busy right now).
The motivation of this site is to share ideas, innovations and resources regarding Unigraphics NX CAD. Ideas NX series and probably some Catia V5 cross training.
Ideas users can also pick up some very interesting new tricks during their migration to NX6.
I know there are a lot of users out there who both use Unigraphics and Catia that have a horrible time relating how to use one with how to use the other. Unigraphics users complain that Catia was designed by Frenchmen and the verbiage is Greek. Catia users complain that Unigraphics can't cut the mustard. We intend to help both communities bridge the gap and become better users of both systems. We are also starting CatiaCorner.com which looks at things from the Catia perspective. There will be Unigraphics tidbits there as well.
So, if you read this far, I will give you a tip. This is from Unigraphics version 4 and has managed to migrate through 20 versions of Unigraphics without being removed by some knucklehead:
Tip 1: When Unigraphics locks up and it won't come back, hit: Control, Shift, (hold both down) and hit the Left bracket (next to the letter P), then let go of all buttons, then hit PPP, then Return.
The simple expalanation is control, shift, left bracket, p,p,p, return. It works and it will save your ass.
